Why is Open Language?

This space honors creativity and the rituals and practices that sustain it. On each full moon, Open Language features a micro-review of poetry and a micro-ritual to inspire, as well as a new writing prompt each month. Monthly posts are free and open to all for four months after publication. Paid subscribers have access to the full archive, as well as bonus posts, featuring process notes, somatic practices, discussions of archetypes in tarot, and eventually, occasional mini-interviews. Paid subscriptions also sustain the free version, so the gratitude is real!
